Haunted sites in Cedar Rapids span decades of spooky history
The Cedar Rapids Jaycees used various old, near-demolished buildings as haunted houses from the 1970s to 1980s, including the Magnus Hotel and Nightmare Manor at a Children’s Home. Today a 120 year old former factory near the Cedar River houses Nightmare Manor behind the police station, with Victorian brick architecture and a history of multiple occupants and uses.
