Freon Fumes Fatal To G R Man 37
A Cedar Rapids man, David Buchhop, 37, died Saturday after freon fumes escaped from an air conditioner in Lindale Plaza. He was found in the basement of Baker’s shoe store and died on arrival at St Luke’s hospital. The Cedar Rapids fire department cited a ruptured air conditioner diaphragm as the likely cause.
