Photographers captured her moment and footage circulated online gaining national attention. Andersen says she was only having fun and not making a political statement.

Demolition Opens City Flood Cleanup on Fourth Street
Wreckers began tearing down the first of 71 flood damaged homes in Cedar Rapids at 1229 Fourth St SE. The city hired crew started the demolition after delays in bidding for the program to remove the most damaged structures from June’s historic flood. Loren Snell, the engineering construction manager, explained the process Tuesday.

Coralville Death Breaks as Boy Found Dead in Northeast Iowa
