Dutch pair tops Cup Gemini World Pairs Invitational kickoff
Piet Jansen and Jan Westerhof of the Netherlands led after four matches in the 1998 Cup Gemini World Pairs Invitational before being defeated by Tor Helness and Geir Helgemo. A heart lead and a later diamond switch by Helness altered the swing, dropping the Dutch pair south while Helness Helgemo finished third.
