London bar Dandelyan tops World's 50 Best Bars list
Dandelyan in the Mondrian London was named the world’s best bar at a Roundhouse ceremony. Founder Ryan Chettyawardana announced plans to close Dandelyan to mark its fourth birthday and pursue new ventures. Bo Mac's in Cedar Rapids roots its menu in comfort dishes while renovating a 1898 Victorian Italianate building once a hardware store. Owner McCormick and chef Antonio Rivera preserved historic elements and built pieces from original subflooring as flood cleanup and 2008 damage shaped the space. Plans include Bo Town Live a music venue and Bo Town Entertainment Park with outdoor amphitheater.
