Two Women in Good Condition After Illinois Auto Crash
Mrs. Howard Stark aged 89 and Mrs. Earl Lentz Jr. were reported in fairly good condition at a Clinton hospital after a Sunday crash on highway 80 in Illinois. Stark had knee injuries while Lentz suffered rib injuries. The collision also fatally injured Henry Rohde Jr. of Clinton. A truck rammed a car and four vehicles piled up in foggy conditions.

Two Cedar Rapids Youths Hurt In Sunday Highway Crash
Howard Pyle aged 20 and Edna Swick aged 15, residents of Cedar Rapids, were listed in good condition at Mercy hospital after an early Sunday crash on Highway 218 south of Hunter airport. Pyle suffered back injuries and Swick head injuries from a collision involving a car driven by Leo M. Panther. Sheriff James Smith said the wreck occurred about 3:30 a.m. when Panthers car rear ended Richard Privoznik’s vehicle from Davenport. Panther was treated for cuts and bruises at the hospital.
