Vikings edge Packers in overtime for 20-17 victory
Benny Ricardo kicked a 32-yard field goal 5:05 into OT to give the Minnesota Vikings a 20-17 win at Green Bay. Ted Brown rushed for 179 yards, lifting Minnesota to 6-2 and a two game NFC Central lead. Green Bay’s Lynn Dickey threw for 327 yards and tied the game late, but the Packers lost after failing to convert on fourth down in overtime.
