Voter Registration Warning In Johnson County
Johnson County Auditor Dolores Rogers urged all voters to reregister before Saturday if they have not received a voter identification card. The post office has returned over 11,000 cards due to moves or wrong addresses, with more than 43,000 mailed last week. Wonona Man Dies in Crash on Bridge Span
MARQUETTE The Maraman Robert J. Geraghty 0 was killed in a three car wreck Monday night on the Mississippi bridge span between Marquette and Prairie du Chien. Kenneth Adney 1 of McGregor drove the Geraghty car into an oncoming vehicle operated by Ronald Bossard 23 of Elkader. Bossard and Adney plus two passengers in the Adney car were taken to Prairie du Chien hospital. Two passengers in the Geraghty car, Mary Blackdeer 39 of McGregor and her son Armand Blackdeer, were injured. Armand remained admitted in satisfactory condition Tuesday. The accident remained under investigation Tuesday.
