Belden Hill 70, longtime Cedar Rapids baseball figure and former president of the Mississippi Valley league, died at 11 am Tuesday at his home. Born August 24, 1864 in Kewanee Illinois, Hill helped found a model, well managed league after 1921 and was renowned for integrity and leadership in the Cedar Rapids baseball community.
