Cedar Rapids Buy Nothing group grows neighbor connections
Emily Stohl and Jessie Lowe administer Cedar Rapids Central Buy Nothing on Facebook. The group, started in August, aims to exchange items locally with no asking for anything in return, fostering neighborhood ties through shared plants, furniture, tools, or help with projects. The Cedar Rapids network spans nearby areas, with plans to grow while keeping members within defined boundaries and walking distance exchanges.
