Cosmonauts repair two solar panels on Mir in internal spacewalk
Cosmonauts Anatoly Solovyov and Pavel Vinogradov connected two of three solar panels during an internal spacewalk aboard the Mir station. The six hour and thirty eight minute EVA aimed to restore power after the Spektr module was damaged and power cut in June. An American astronaut remained in the Soyuz capsule as a precaution while crews worked to align the remaining panel.
