Kennedy Seen As Oakland A's Next Manager Choice
The Kansas City franchise moved to Oakland, and owner Charles C. Finley has picked a manager for the Athletics next year. Reports say Bob Kennedy, former Chicago Cubs head coach, is Finley’s choice, with an official announcement expected in Oakland. If correct, Kennedy would be the sixth new A’s skipper in 1968, following Dark, Appling, Hodges, Harris, Shepard, and Lemon.
