Lawsuit alleges targeting of Hispanic students at high school
Three South Salem High School students sue the district in federal court alleging a November assembly singled out Hispanic boys for a lecture on harassment. They claim 30 dark-haired students were gathered in the auditorium after complaints of bothering non Hispanic girls and a highly publicized rape, with principal Kris Olsen admitting the session was a "screw up."
