Central Texas wildfire gains ground near Bastrop

A wildfire east of Austin, the Hid den Pines fire, was 40 percent contained on Saturday after burning 4 582 acres and forcing evacuation of over 400 homes in Bastrop County. Officials said containment was reached after four days of defense, with a farming accident blamed for the blaze.
