Linn County Supervisors approve numerous interfund transfers and policies
Linn County Board of Supervisors met in Cedar Rapids to approve transfers totaling about 1.59 million dollars from Capital Projects to Debt Service and General funds, plus several other fund shuffles. They adopted multiple resolutions on Brownfields grants, tax suspensions, a residential parcel split, and a name change for the Veteran Affairs department to Linn County Veteran Services. The board also authorized a bridge closure, entered into contract with Elite Fire & Automation for correctional center upgrades, and approved personnel, internet, and welcome packet policies. The meeting adjourned at 10:04 AM with bills list and notices on file.
