Man barred from owning animals after dog attack
DAVENPORT AP A man named Delano Thorpe is banned from owning animals for five years after two pit bulls bit letter carrier Jim Clark’s finger during a Sept. 18 delivery. The ruling cites repeated violations of licensing vaccination and dog-warying laws and orders the dogs destroyed. Thorpe can appeal to district court as postal workers push tighter dangerous dog laws.
