Window discoloration prompts Cedar Rapids police station repairs
Cedar Rapids Police Station is replacing window frames at a cost covered by United States Aluminum after discoloration appeared on frames installed last May. Architect Gary Landhauser said testing showed improper anodization, mainly on west and south sides. The manufacturer agrees to replace discolored frames and start the three year warranty anew.
