Vinton Man Charged With Providing Marijuana Pipe to Toddler
Frederick E. Schmidt 25 of 704 2nd Ave is charged with distributing a controlled substance to a person under 18 after police say he gave a lit marijuana pipe to a half year old on Sept. 2. The class C felony carries up to 10 years in jail and a 10000 dollar fine. Schmidt is held in Benton County Jail awaiting magistrate today.
