Major Cedar Rapids road project raises Collins Road three
A $15.4 million Cedar Rapids project will widen a Collins Road NE stretch near Lindale Mall to six lanes and raise it up to 18 feet. An underpass on Lindale Drive NE will add 8-foot sidewalks, giving mall access from the north to the south side and improving pedestrian and bike routes. Construction begins this spring and includes related upgrades.
