Pilot Mike Morgan's lifelong love of flight and planes
Bill Morgan owned a Coralville dealership until 1974 and ran a Honda operation in Hiawatha. World War II warbird work, restoring Glacier Girl, and flying a 1952 Beechcraft Bonanza plus a Ryan PT-22 define a life of planes and 10 000 air hours. He flies from Cedar Rapids, solo or with wife Margaret, often reaching 8000 feet in open cockpit, favoring high altitudes to avoid air conditioning. Dave Rasdal's column notes this aviation life study and invites readers to contact.
