Des Moines editor Verne Marshall of The Gazette will reveal undisclosed facts from last year’s political graft investigation in a 9:30 p.m. Tuesday address on radio station WHO. The half hour program, sponsored by The Gazette, aims to expose state house and justice department actions, Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, Sioux City, and other communities, and urge informed public action against political trickery.

Hollywood reports the suspension of twenty four prominent actors by Actors' Equity in New York, a move seen as driving a closed shop in the film industry. In Columbus Ohio Mary Jenkins was stabbed in the leg by a knife that flew through the air. Police could not locate a knife thrower and suggested the weapon may have been kicked up from the street by nearby fires.
