Chelsea renamed Cedar Rapids riverfront building rehab project
The former Knutson Building on the Cedar River, stabilized after near collapse, is being renamed the Chelsea as Hobart Historic Restoration finishes three months from restoration. The project repurposes the 1887 structure into 18 market rate apartments with river views, while seeking local landmark status and National Register listing.
