DeWitte Steps Into Spotlight as Band Leader in Iowa
Cedar Rapids guitarist Ron DeWitte, a 40-year staple of Iowa's music scene, leads the Iowa Blues Hall of Fame Band for two Campbell Steele Gallery shows in Marion. He will sing most songs with backing from Dartan yan Brown and Sam Salomone, plus guest Lynne Rothrock. DeWitte credits Rothrock for pushing him to front his own act and aims to continue performing with the group amid future album and Barbados cruise plans.
