Lost turtles seek lift home from Cedar Rapids
Cedar Rapids residents found three three toed box turtles and two horned lizards in the city and brought them to the Indian Creek Nature Center. The reptiles are native to southern states and not Iowa. The center seeks volunteers to transport the horned toads and turtles back toward their native ranges.
