What Sandusky can expect in prison
Jerry Sandusky would enter state prison with little beyond a watch and wedding band and face a 30 hour work week. He could watch Penn State games but not violent films, and will likely serve many years in a state facility after his June conviction on 45 counts. He is expected to receive a security level and home prison assignment, possibly a minimum security unit for non-violent offenders, with treatment available and parole consideration requiring participation. If he writes a book, state law blocks earnings.
