Former teacher aide charged with kidnapping Ottumwa girl
Brendan Stanley 29 of Ottumwa is charged with second degree kidnapping after allegedly kidnapping a former student in Ottumwa county. Gloria Bonilla Lopez, 9, was found unharmed after an Amber Alert led authorities to Stanley’s car south of Douds. The girl says Stanley asked her to enter his car at her bus stop and said he had something to show her.
