Siglympics at Coe College Planned by Alpha Sigma Phi
Coe College hosts the 13th Siglympics with a Friday night queen crowning at Gage Memorial Union and Saturday lawn events between Voorhees and Greene halls. Student teams from four sororities and St Luke's nurses compete in sack race rolling pin toss football kick and water balloon race coached by Alpha Sigma Phi members. Dr Joseph E McCabe opens at 9 30 a m with a secret transportation surprise to add intrigue to the festivities.

Indian Guides Camp-Out At Camp Wapsie Y
Eight tribes of Indian Guides from the Ellis YMCA meet at Camp Wapsie Y for a two day fall camp-out launching the program.
