Driver Charged After Accident on No 150
Four people escaped with minor injuries in a car pickup collision at the junction of highways 150 and 336 south of Independence. Howard Bush 35 of Manchester drove the car and Calvin Butterfield 65 of Rowley drove the pickup. Butterfield was turning left onto highway 150 when hit by the northbound Bush vehicle. The Bush car struck a highway sign and rolled onto its top in the ditch. Butterfield said he did not see the Bush car and was charged with making an improper left turn. Bush's wife Nellie 33 and son Roger 6 were passengers.
