Elmhurst mansion carries Singmaster history to new life
Marjie runs Elmhurst, one of Keota’s famed Singmaster houses, turning it into a weekend bed and breakfast and a yearlong labor of love. The Elmhurst story, built 1905 for Thomas Singmaster, features a grand staircase with 225 spindles, leather walls, and imported glass, with a wartime porch and column costs underscoring its era.
