Pigs Die In Fire At Lyon County Farm Near Inwood
About 800 pigs perished when a hog confinement building burned at the Roy Folkerts farm near Inwood Iowa early Wednesday morning. Firefighters from Inwood Rock Valley and Canton were summoned after 7 a.m. Lightning is suspected as the cause and no loss estimate has been set. Inwood lies in Lyon County in northwest Iowa.
