University of Iowa to Launch $1.5 Million Disability Project
The National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research awards a five year, 1.5 million grant to the University of Iowa Law Health Policy and Disability Center. The project seeks to improve lives of people with disabilities through financial education matched savings accounts and tax incentive use. It is a collaboration with Southern New Hampshire University, National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions, World Institute on Disability and National Cooperative Bank Development Corp.
