Susen Dowd 82 mother of Mamie Eisenhower died in Denver and left an estate valued at more than 100000. The will filed for probate in the county court leaves the bulk of the estate to Mamie Eisenhower and another daughter Mrs G Gordon Moore of Washington. She also bequeathed 25060 to her brother Joel Carlson of Boone Iowa. Carlson and Aksel Nielsen of Denver named executors. Most assets are notes on real estate.
Death notices for Felix Martell of Cedar Rapids born June 2, 1890 in Zurich Kansas, widow Iva Smith, with services planned at Immaculate Conception church. Josephine L. MacLain of Marion, Clyde MacLain spouse, 25-year Cedar Rapids Planning Commission member. William E. Morton, longtime Cedar Rapids resident and painter, survived by three daughters and seven grandchildren. Burial and service details in Turner chapel and Cedar Memorial.
Larry Dean Raygor infant son of Mr and Mrs Harry Raygor 518 First Ave NW died Wednesday. Private services were held in Teahen chapel Thursday by Rev J Robert McDonald with burial at Mt Calvary Cemetery.

Detectives sought to question Cedar Rapids woman Mrs Lawrence Tupy age 21 of 1127 Second St SW after she was found unconscious late Wednesday on Fifth Street SE and Twelfth Avenue. She suffered facial and head injuries and possible skull fracture. Her husband said she left home after 4 PM and was found two hours later with flashlight and left shoe nearby.
Braniff Airways clerks strike over wage terms ended Thursday after mediation board involvement. Braniff spokesman said wage terms were agreed to by both sides and the walkout concluded. The union sought better pay and a closed shop, which was not granted.
