Hearing set in ISU golfer slaying case

Boa constrictor found near Clinton dam in Mississippi River area
An Army Corps of Engineers employee spotted a seven foot boa constrictor near Lock and Dam 13 across from Clinton. The snake, cold and sluggish, was loaded into a truck and later adopted by a Cedar Rapids educator. Wildlife refuge staff urge adopters to take unwanted pets rather than releasing them.
