John Swanson of Cedar Rapids aims his 1967 Alfa Romeo Duetto at the sixth annual Motorloway vintage vehicle tour. About 200 pre-1976 cars trucks and bikes will be shown in Iowa City before a six day 1000 mile run through Iowa Missouri and Illinois with stops in Galesburg Keokuk and Cedar Rapids among others.

Four Cedar Rapids boys were recognized for recalling school safety lessons after finding a .22 revolver and two capped eye holes during a game of hide and seek last Saturday. Audrey Barth resigns after pleading guilty to non-felonious misconduct in office and accepting a sentence in Winneshiek County District Court. Barth served 42 years in county service including four as assessor and will step down October 15 due to health reasons. She was fined 350 dollars and ordered to pay 79 dollars in restitution to Winneshiek County.
