County space unit settles on Coliseum site for county offices
A subcommittee of the Citizen Space Advisory Committee recommends using Veterans Memorial Coliseum for county offices moved from the courthouse. The plan, termed Plan D in spirit, would require leasing costs agreement and 429 new parking spaces, with a cost around 5.11 million and a county share near 1.14 million. A fallback is the Penick and Ford Ltd building, pending voter approval of $1.1 million in revenue sharing funds on the November ballot.
