How to Raise Kids Control Aggressive Acts and Fire Setting
The guidance advises immediate firm but calm discipline for biting and other aggression, separating the child and returning to play after a brief timeout. It stresses modeling empathy, avoiding biting back, and keeping matches out of reach. Fire setting by young children is managed by outdoor demonstrations, while bedtime routines include a firm end of day and no further attention. The piece notes a 1935 Italy invasion of Ethiopia on this date.
