Congress Passes Bills On Health Mandate And Overdue Funding
The House approved HR 954 to waive the individual mandate for certain CO-OP health plans by 258 to 165, sending the bill to a Senate seen as dead on arrival. It also overrode Obama’s veto on S 2040 to let families of Sept 11 victims sue Saudi Arabia in federal court.
