Tens of thousands mark Jerusalem Day protests across Middle East

Tens of thousands rallied Friday in the Middle East in solidarity with Palestinians. In Tehran about 10,000 gathered at Engelab Square with Iranian President Khatami, calling for Ariel Sharon to be tried as a war criminal and for U.S. support for Israel to be punished. Similar protests occurred in Bahrain and Nabatieh Lebanon, where Hezbollah leader Nasrallah urged continued resistance.
