Space station change of command aboard Endeavour
American astronaut Kenneth Bowersox formally took charge of the international space station replacing Russian cosmonaut Valery Korzun who said he would miss the space house. Korzun and two crewmates depart aboard shuttle Endeavour after a six month stay while Peggy Whitson and Sergei Treschev move in. Whitson expressed eagerness to return home and enjoy real food and a garden in Houston. Bowersox stays on board with Donald Pettit and Nikolai Budarin until at least March while planning future work.
