Dallas county grand jury returned a no bill and did not indict Corinne Maddox in the death of Brooks Coffman the attorney she killed on a busy street. Maddox previously said Coffman stabbed her after luring her into the country and she later hunted him with two pistols after recovering in hospital.
Des Moines editorialist lashes the Cedar Rapids Federation of Labor for refusing to back repeal of the Iowa criminal syndicalism law. Earl Christensen 38 00 Second Avenue SE also a Luberger employee riding in the truck suffered multiple injuries and remained at St. Luke s hospital. Beach had bruises but left the hospital. Rychecky and his brother Leo 21 were scratched and cut. Sheriff Jim Smith and highway patrol investigated the scene.
