Cedar Rapids Man Identified In Homicide
The Gazette reports 34 year old Land J. Harris of Cedar Rapids was identified as the man shot and killed in the 500 block of 10th Street SW. Police say Harris died from a gunshot injury and no other details are released. This marks Cedar Rapids sixth homicide of the year with multiple other shootings cited.

Confrontation over stolen purse ends in Cedar Rapids shooting
Heidi Stephens confronted Zachary Ildefonso about a stolen purse on November 20 at 1515 Second Ave SE. He fired a .357 revolver, hitting Stephens in the neck as Andrew Shank fled. Ildefonso was arrested November 24 with the gun. he faces first-degree murder and related charges with a $1 million bail.
