Third Reported Fair Fireman Suffers Burns
An early morning Thanksgiving fire on Cedar Rapids southwest side claimed two children dead and injured three other relatives plus a fireman. Roxanne Showalter, 5, and Jessica Showalter, 7, died. Georgia Showalter, 9, in fair condition with 35 percent burns. parents treated and released. Lt. Bob Carlo suffered severe burns but was treated and released. Four Iowans among 18 Midwest storm deaths
