City awards 1.6 million skywalk expansion in Cedar Rapids
The Cedar Rapids City Council approved Miron Construction to extend the skywalk about a block from the Convention Center Ramp to the nearby U.S. Bank project at 361 First Ave SE. The winter start and August 1 completion follow a 1.4 million federal grant. The move aims to connect parking ramps to major employers and support downtown workers.
