Hair tour fails to electrify Cedar Rapids Paramount
The Pink Lace Productions touring "Hair" at the Paramount Theatre in Cedar Rapids delivers nostalgia with uneven sound. Ted Vitale as Claude leads a capable cast while Carla Murray and Liz Hogue provide strong singing. the weak sound system muffles lyrics and dampens the show’s energy despite a party atmosphere and a stronger second act finale with "Good Morning Starshine" and "Let the Sunshine In."
