Trump to halt arming of Syrian Kurdish fighters YPG
The Trump administration will stop supplying weapons to the YPG in Syria as part of a shift toward a political settlement and stabilization after ISIS loss. Turkish Foreign Minister Cavusoglu said Trump pledged to end arms for the Kurdish fighters, easing U.S.-Turkey tensions but angering Kurdish partners. The White House confirmed pending military support adjustments as Raqqa is secured.
