Thanksgiving feast heals loneliness with elderly volunteers
The Life Investors dinner drew 600 seniors and 120 volunteers for a free Thanksgiving meal. Dentists, former Gov. Ray, and local sponsors funded and organized the event, serving large quantities of turkey and side dishes. One diner praised the day as beautiful, while others spoke of loss and gratitude. A trust fund will continue the tradition.
