Police fear a Los Angeles Strangler is behind the murders of 11 girls and young women found along roadsides near freeways and canyons in Los Angeles County. Victims aged 7 to 28 were mostly strangled and often sexually molested, with several bodies found within six miles of Glendale Highland Park La Crescenta Griffith Park and Elysian Park. The latest victim Jane Evelyn King 28 of West Hollywood was found beside the Golden State Freeway nude and strangled. Further details from missing persons records were not released.
