AP Marshalltown report says one person died and three injured in a sideswipe crash on highway 30 near LeGrand. A car and an auto transport bound for Des Moines collided. the transport overturned an embankment as a train passed. Victim Nina Himes, 26, of Marshalltown, died from injuries later. Others listed injured included Howard Barker, Mildred Reese, and Joseph Barker, all Marshalltown residents. Driver Leonard McClenathan, 25, Manchester, escaped with minor injuries.
