Marion teen learns about equal rights through park service
Steve Warner a Linn-Mar High School junior spent four weeks in Rocky Mountain National Park as a Student Conservation Program volunteer. He joined six girls and six boys in trail work and bridge building along the North Fork Trail near the Big Thompson River. Warner says the experience strengthened his view of equal rights and noted the program covers travel and gear while students provide own transport, with food and equipment supplied by the SCA.
