City landfill fee plan prompts council second reading
City manager Peter F Crivaro reports few calls on the proposed landfill fee schedule with one suggestion for an annual fee from a commercial hauler and a rural resident asking about pay per use. Residents are urged to submit suggestions and attend Monday's council meeting for a second reading of the ordinance. The 1969 dump operation cost is projected at 82000 with 45000 from income other than taxation and 37000 to be raised by taxes, the fee plan reducing tax burden.
